Viva Magenta 18-1750
The Pantone Colour of 2023 said to be an unconventional shade for an unconventional time.
Last year’s colour was Very Peri 17-3938 a colour of courageous presence said to encourage personal inventiveness and creativity. A colour to symbolise the emergence from our ‘covid slumber’. So now that we have emerged and started the transition into our new world where does Viva Magenta take us?
Viva Magenta is a colour said to be brave and fearless, powerful and empowering.
My take on this colour is that it’s not just a vibrant colour but a real hit of energy to make big change. I think for a lot of us, the last few years have brought our energies way down and though we have moved on, I believe it is time for bigger steps. It’s time to be fearless, embracing life with more enthusiasm and personal power than ever before.
Viva Magenta can be used in so many ways, it can be a punch of fun, a new lux vibe or even added in small doses to our relaxed coastal homes to give a more tropical feel. If you’re feeling confident, add it in droves, but if you want to step slowly into the VM vibe, add a little pop of fun and interest to a room with soft furnishings and accessories. Give it a try, you might be surprised how it can add new energy to a tired room.
While it does take a bit of time to see the new colours come into our regional stores, lets see what we can do now to start 2023 off while a bang! Why not embrace this colour and all that it could bring you, perhaps this could be the catalyst for a reawakening of your senses, a chance to reinvent yourself and your home in a whole new way.
